We
were pleasantly surprised and pleased to learn that our Chapman Chapel was selected for mention in the Orange County Register Newspaper's 13th Annual "BEST OF ORANGE COUNTY" Guide, published on September 15, 2006. In the "Best Local Places to Get Married" section of the Guide, the Chapman Chapel was placed in the #3 position. |
|
About the Chapel, the publication says: "Generations of families in the past century have been married at the historical Chapman Chapel, and countless Orange County photo albums probably contain pictures of brides and grooms standing in front of the charming edifice, with its classic bell tower and steeple. "The ivy-covered chapel, in Old Towne Orange, has a single center aisle that has set the stage for many a 'Here Comes the Bride.' Stained-glass windows and an A-frame roof complete the picture. "Brides love having access to the brick courtyard with its abundent flowers and fountain, the perennial-lined pathways, the twinkle-light-strewn archways and the bride's dressing room with a fireplace and hardwood floors. "Through the Christian Wedding Planning Center, couples also can customize a package with reception sites, food, decorations, photography, transportation and more." |

| The publisher stated that
the listed "Best" were selected by nominations from the newspaper's readers. We are honored that Chapman Chapel so recognized! |
